Excursions Outside the Classroom
Field trips provide students with opportunities to observe the world outside the classroom. Field trips can include jaunts to a museum, farm, manufacturing plant, geological area, public facility, or other location so that students can gain firsthand knowledge. Field trips accomplish the following objectives:
- Students engage all of their senses in a real-world environment.
- Students develop broader perspectives.
