Our robotics course offers beginning and intermediate levels of study in the design and use of robotics. Through the use of the VEX V5 (high school) and VEX IQ (middle school), as well as the Python programming language, students will be exposed to the concepts, techniques, and practical workings of robotics design and programming. Through the scope of the course, students will learn to work as contributing members of a cohesive team to design, produce, and test their robots. Concepts studied will include motor control, gear ratios, torque, sensors, timing, program loops, decision-making, and propulsion systems.
